Ministries we provide to the community Open Door Baptist Church is filled with many different ministries that you can become involved in. There are so many ways to be a part of Open Door Baptist Church and help in one of the many ministries that are an integral part of our church. Some of our ministries and outreaches include: Nursery: We offer nursery care during all of our services. Our caring volunteers make this their ministry so you can relax and be ministered to when you come. Your little ones are in good hands here. Sunday School: Sunday School is a way in which people of all ages can be taught in basic bible principles and lessons. The small classroom setting can provide quality instruction time with knowledgeable teachers. These are the names of our teachers: Ms. Becky Ms. Jenny Brother Frank teaches the adult Sunday School. Children's Church: We truly believe in child evangelism, and we offer many opportunities for children to come to know the Lord as their personal savior and to have fun in a safe and wholesome way. Food Pantry: A ministry designed to help needy or hurting people in the congregation and community. Bus Ministry: The Bible says, "Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." (Luke 14:23) We realize that some people (especially children) are unable to attend church on their own. We make a way for these people to come to church. *How can I ride the bus? Prayer Note Ministry: This ministry provides notes to people in the community with prayer needs that we are indeed praying for them. This assures them that in their time of need they are not alone; someone is thinking of them, praying for them, loving them.
